In Tulsa, Oklahoma, on February 7, 1962, was born Troyal Garth Brooks. His parents, Troyal Raymond Brooks and Colleen McElroy Carroll are very proud of their youngest son. Brooks and Yearwood performed a similar concert on CBS the following week and gave $1 million to pandemic relief efforts. More than 5 million people watched the CBS telecast. On July 7, they returned to Facebook Live for another event and played songs chosen by their fans.

Brooks met his first wife, songwriter Sandy Mahl, while in college. It was on May 24, 1986, when they tied the knot. Taylor, August, and Allie were the names of the couple’s three daughters. On December 17, 2001, Brooks and Mahl filed for divorce. When he split from his wife, it cost a fortune. Sandy received $125 million from the settlement Garth paid her.
