What it is
An oriental-fantasy, ink-wash styled RPG with a full story campaign. You travel a 30 × 22 tile world, gather companions, and fight your way through a five-element battle system. It is bilingual throughout — every piece of interface text and dialogue exists in both Chinese and English.
The parts that are actually interesting
Four seasonal realms on one map. The world is split into four quadrants, and the weather changes as you cross between them: falling cherry blossoms in the north-west, spring bloom in the north-east, dry autumn wind in the south-west, heavy snow in the south-east. Backgrounds and particle effects swap automatically based on where your character is standing, so the map reads as a landscape rather than a grid.
Five-element turn-based combat. Elements beat and feed each other the way you would expect from wuxing logic, and the mirror-array card mechanic sits on top of that as a second layer — you can either play it by hand or let the auto-play take the turn if you would rather watch the story.
Gear that visibly changes. Drops come in quality tiers, can be enhanced, and the equipment actually shows up on the character. There is also a sell system, so the stuff you outgrow converts back into gold instead of clogging your inventory forever.
A story you can replay. The campaign is chapter-based, and completed chapters can be re-watched from a story panel — handy if you skipped through something the first time.
It respects your time and your machine. Pathfinding is one click, combat can auto-resolve, and there is a six-step bilingual tutorial the first time you open it. It plays on desktop and on mobile, with click-to-move, keyboard, WASD and on-screen controls all supported.
